  1. Hey, maybe you guys didn’t hear, but the Yankees won last night and ended up with the best record and #1 seed in the AL. I thought it was a little bit newsworthy. :P

  3. Once a year for about the past 4 years, I see LaTroy Hawkins come in, and I say “This guy is still playing?”

  4. People like to talk about guys like Cabrera moving from 1st base to 3rd base like it is some great personal sacrifice. Its not even close to the transition from SP to RP. Lesser men are crushed by it.

  5. My favorite interview of the year. No cliches, just LaTroy in his essence.

  6. Good interview. I’ve always been a big fan of LaTroy’s, and this only reaffirms that position.

  7. LaTroy Hawkins used to pitch for the Yankees, so there’s your connection.

  8. Being a Twins fan, I’d always wondered why Hawkins had so much trouble in his early years, like his number of the beast ERA in ’99. This interview explains a great deal.

One wonders what his career would have been had he had better coaching in the high school years…

  10. This site might be more appropriately called, “” – Evan3457 and Raf are both regular contributors, so there’s your connection.
