  1. do a historical study, parse out if ROE and its prevention is a repeatable skill. I doubt it, but you never know.

  2. Hunter was likely given hits on some balls many other batters would have had called an error. He is well liked by umpires, so it is fair to assume scorers like him a ton as well so he gets the benefit of the doubt.

  3. It might come up as a repeatable skill for pitchers if they keep having stellar/horrid defenses behind them, but still, worth looking into

  5. Do you have any home/road splits? Since this is partially based on the judgement of the official scorer, I’d assume certain players may be favored in the process more than others.
