  2. “[I]nstead of to suffer the slings and arrows of multiple knee injuries”

He used to be a ball player like you. Then he took an arrow in the knee.

  3. Only 93 at-bats but promising. 18 BB, 15k, .280/.402/.398.

Oscar Tavares is 3rd in the league in OPS, .316/.379/.507 (Juan Francisco leads the league in OPS). Segura and Junior Lake also having nice seasons.

  5. It must be getting hot in Cleveland. On a more serious note, I am curious as to why Randall Delgado is playing in the Dominican Winter League. 25 starts seems like enough to me for such a young pitcher on the cusp of permanently joining a major league rotation. It’s not like they need or should even expect 31 starts out of him in 2013. Let him rest up instead.

  7. So if Daniels had been Paul O’Neill and Paul O’Neill had remained Paul O’Neill for Cincinnati and Eric Davis had been healthy and become Cesar Cedeno, the Reds would have had a pretty good OF assuming they would have kept all three.

  9. I never understood why the American League didn’t try and grab Daniels for a DH role. As I recall, his fielding fell off quite remarkably but he could still hit.
