  1. When will the ZIPS player projections be available?

  2. You know what’d be awesome. If instead of projecting batting average we projected BABIP.

  3. They’re coming out one at a time per Carson, similar to how Dan did it in the past. So far I think four teams have been published, although they are missing pitcher wins in the articles.

  4. You know what else would be awesome? Instead of the drop down boxes. Slider boxes so that the users can center their predictions where they want.

For example, if I think a player will K 10% of the time, now I can only pick 9% or 11%.

So keep the range of 2% but let me center it at 10%

  6. Umm…. You might want to rethink your bins for each of the stats.
For something like BB%, you have bins like: 5-6%, 7-8%, and 9-10%.
Well what happened to 6-7% and 8-9%? If I decide a player will BB 8.5%, I don’t know what bin to choose.

  7. You should just choose the one you think he’s most likely to hit. In the end, the slightly larger bucket sizes do not make much of a difference when computing a player’s final aggregate FAN projection.

  11. How are the ‘My Ranking’ stats calculated?

  12. This. Exactly this.

So many times I want to rate a guy exactly at the cut-off value.

That’s why the sliders would work so well

  13. What do you mean?

You’d project it just like you project batting average, but you’d project BABIP
