  1. Hey Dave. What kind of numbers do you think Tulowitzki could put up if he plays 155 games this season?

  2. RA Dickey has 500 less IP than Verlander and Felix. Could he just be entering his prime?

  3. Hi Dave, why didn’t the M’s DFA Peguero or Thames instead of Carp? Both seem to be lesser players with less potential than Carp.

  4. Not all fans have turned on Todd Helton. There are still those fans that believe in him

  5. Unlike Peguero and Thames, Carp does not have an option year left. He had to be on the 25-man roster come opening day to stay with the organization. With Morales, IbaƱez, Smoak and Morse, the Mariners have a bunch of 1B/DH types and had no room for him on the team.

  8. Since when is there 3 months of summer in NW cities like Seattle? 2 months max, with some summers more like a few weeks. Spring starts in February, but lasts through June. Delusional, kid.

  9. Go to Zillow or Trulia, then search the 27104 zip code for listings. Then see what $1,800 per month would get you out here. You’ll move.

(I actually like Berkeley. My mom was raised in the Bay Area, and I have a ton of family in the area. There are definitely reasons to live there over living in North Carolina. That said, if you can work from home, living in the south has some huge advantages.)

  10. I pressed the button with the speech bubbles on the bottom right just out of curiosity, when — lo and behold — a lost of languages popped up. I chose French, and the first question turned into:

“Allez-vous regarder la WBC comme un ventilateur ou un scout?”

I think even a non-French-speaker can tell that there’s something not quite right about that translation.
