  2. No Francisco Samuel? Or is he just the poor man’s Chris Perez?

    I’m also surprised at the lack of an inclusion for Jon Jay. He seems to have much more upside than draft-nightmare Kozma, and will have a better AVG once his BABIP returns to his career average.

  5. Samuel displayed terrible control in 2009. I can’t see how he makes the top 10. Both Sanchez and Salas are better relief prospects than Samuel.

  6. True. I still think that with that slider/fb combo he has a high upside. The real curious omission though is Jay.

  7. I’ve seen Jay play this past season and I wasn’t overly impressed. Although he has speed, his arm in CF looked average at best. As did his instincts to run down balls in an away park. Mark Hamilton was a guy who impressed, though. The ball jumps off of his bat, and he’s a lefty. He played solidly in the field though I’ve heard his defense is average. But that can be worked on.
