  1. When looking at AFL stats, is it more of a hitters league than pitching? Besides being in the desert, are the pitchers of the same prospect status as the hitters?

  2. Any word on how perceptions of Brian Goodwin and his future may have changed this year?

  3. The AFL a very hitter friendly league, and the pitching talent does not tend to be of the same caliber as the hitting (in no small part because most of the best pitching prospects have already pitched a full season, and are thus already at their IP limits for the year). You’ll occasionally see some recent draftees or guys recovering from injury (oh hey Arodys!), but even still the hitting talent is of a much higher caliber.

  4. I still remember Lobstein. He was supposed to be the next Cole Hamels and then he sucked.
