  1. Are the A’s still in the running for Furcal? I thought he turned down their offer of 4/44.

  2. Benne: I think he rejected their 4/35m-ish offer sometime last week, but the 4/40m was just put on the table today I believe.

  6. I think this is a great signing for both sides. Because of Escobar and Johnson the Braves will likely be able to give Furcal rest when he needs and should increase his games played to around 120 or so and 500 at bats. So wRAA at 500 would be .336-.332/1.15*500=1.74. Makes him about a 8.7 million a year player??? please let me know if i did something wrong thanks.
