  1. Nice analysis. One quibble: clever is not quite the word for plundering the Seattle Mariner farm system in exchange for Bedard. Even the Royals or Mets would have made that trade in a heartbeat.

  3. It’s a poor juxtaposition of sentences. Berken was quite terrible last year. However, I think he’s trying to say their farm still has tons of promising arms in Britton, Erbe, Hobgood, Mickolio, Patton, etc.

    Spoke too soon haha. It was just announced today that the Orioles are, in fact, replacing David Stockstill. So much for not fixing something that isn’t broken.
