  2. “Our minor league statistical offerings will be improved ten-fold”

Care to let us in on what’s in store? This is excellent, exciting news.

  3. Any chance we’ll get GB/FB numbers on minor leaguers? If I had to pitck one number I wanted for minor leaguers that would absolutely be it.

  4. I don’t have anything for you just yet, because I don’t know everything myself just yet. But I do know things are going to get better, and we’ll work to meet all your *feasible* requests.

  5. I’m hoping to see a metric of LGITC for minor leaguers. A manager needs to know what kind of clubhouse leader they are getting when they bring someone up to the big club. LOVE and UZCR should also obviously be included.

  9. Hey Bryan,

If Ranaudo can make it through the rest of the season without any trouble, how high do you see him going? Is the stink of injury on him enough to push him down significantly?

Also, what do you think about Bryce Brentz? He’s got the competition question of course, but in a draft that’s going to be light on advanced hitters, I’m curious where you see him fitting in.

  10. Meija isn’t in Low-A to start the season, he is in the Met’s bullpen. And Meija was in AA to end last year so I doubt that if he is sent back down he would not be at a level as low as high-A.

  11. I am super excited as well as I write prospect articles myself at Razzball. Can’t wait to see what’s coming to FanGraphs this season in regards to this topic.

  12. Sean, I was gone for the weekend, so I’m not sure if you’ll see this.

I would not draft Ranaudo in the top 15 at all, given the consistency of the injury problems over a three-year period. He’s just too fragile to spend the kind of money that I know the Boras Corp will be demanding. For the Yankees, he’s a nice player to hang out with Andrew Brackman.

Brentz is clearly pressing, given the K’s, but I think this is a draft where he’ll fit into the first round somewhere. I see him going 12-25.
