  1. Angel Salome isn’t hurt, he left the team to be with his wife, who is expecting their second child. He’ll be back in a bout a week and then the Brewers will need to decide what to do with both catchers. I think it’s unlikely that they’ll keep both at AAA so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them move Lucroy back to AA.

  2. My mistake. I will fix. I saw that he was hobbled with an ankle thing in Spring Training, and assumed wrongly. But I do think Lucroy is at AAA for good.

  3. Nice to see the Marauders get some love for their hitting… now if the pitching would follow in the footsteps of Jeff Locke’s 10K performance yesterday!

  4. Tony Sanchez apparently has had a slight throwing shoulder issue, which probably contributed to his problems throwing out runners. As his defense is supposed to be MLB caliber right now, they probably aren’t too concerned about that. They have since limited him to DH duties this week while the shoulder rests.

  5. According to a scout who watched Sanchez two games before it was announced he had a tender shoulder said the Marauders pitchers were to blame for the high number of steals, not Sanchez.
