  1. Re: Cruz – Yeah, we’ve noticed in Texas. Thankfully we didn’t throw a Feldman-sized extension at Hamilton.

  2. It’s worth noting that Arlington probably doesn’t help Cruz a whole lot. The Park helps out lefty power hitters quite a bit, but righties not so much.

  3. It definitely helps his opposite field power though, that shot he hit off of marcum is a fly ball that’s caught in most other stadiums.

  4. They should sign Kelly Johnson to a $125M extension NOW.

  5. Youre thinking of Adam Dunn

  6. You only get one opportunity to trade for Vernon Wells. Perhaps they’d take Domonic Brown for him? Better through Hamels and Victorino in just to be sure.

  7. Ryan Howard is so awesome! He has the best line-up around him, is on pace for 30 bombs in a park that most JUCO baseball players could get 20 homeruns, and is an even worse fielder than Dunn.

While on pace for 17 errors, his walk percentage drops every season(down to around 7 percent), and he can’t even hang with Dunn’s ISO(.268 compared to .206.)

I really enjoy Ryan Howard’s monster power to all fields as he nearly gets owned 200 times a year.

Ryan Howard is an overrated joke… Thome would put up similar numbers at half the price with the same lineup though he’s 40 years old.
