  1. Carlos’ home/away splits for batting average are worlds apart though at this point this year. It’s a big change from last year.

  2. Wow, I missed that totally. Beltran is hitting .217 at home and .358 on the road. Oy!

  3. Would Beltran’s Home/Road BA’s likely even out over the course of this season or is this some disturbing trend?

  4. You would certainly expect the home/road splits to even out over time. Beltran has some interesting history with home/road splits, going back to the days when Kauffman Stadium was a batter’s paradise. Beltran took full advantage of Kauffman back in his early days, but he never had a split this extreme.

  5. Beltran has only 12 SB in 14 attempts this season. Not 17 for 19 as cited above.
