  1. Quit Whining about being a Blue Jays fan, try being from Baltimore.

  2. The NERD system does not adequately reward Carl Pavano for his ludicrously awesome (terrible?) mustache.

  3. THIS! There needs to be some sort of half point/full point bonus for the quality of facial hair.

  5. Watching the Jays is certainly tough.

    Nice artcicle, neat idea!

I’d rather be out of it by Memorial Day than live and die every night with my team – only to see them lose 12 of 17 September games, plummet 7 games in the standings, still have a glimmer of hope on the last game of the season, and watch that glimmer get squashed before the first three outs are recorded. I’ve learned to enjoy the bad as much as the good. That and I root for the Yankees to lose.

  7. Nah. I checked out the numbers, and that guy’s swinging-strike rate is under 6 percent. That’s gonna really hurt his NERD score.

  9. “how would you explain it to the sort of Japanese person you always see in Vice Magazine?”

I always was lead to believe that these were the people most likely to understand it.

  10. How long have you been blogging for? you made blogging look easy. The overall look of your web site is magnificent, as well as the content! I am not sure where you’re getting your information, but great topic. I needs to spend some time learning more or understanding more.
