  2. The GCL Marlins and Cardinals also play in the same stadium. Obviously the park factors will be different there, since it is a different league. But with how horrendous the park is, you also know that the hitters on those teams are at a major disadvantage.

    Personally I think park adjusted wRC+ is the best stat to use to judge a seasons performance and I never understood why fangraphs didn’t park adjust minor league numbers when they are readily available (I brought this up to David Appelman on Beyond the Boxscore during the offseason, hopefully you can get him to do it Bryan), and then park and league adjusted BABIP, BB%, K%, and ISO to judge peripherals for future performance and prospect status.

    Personally A++ to this and hopefully more people listen. One thing that made me rage last offseason was Matt Dominguez considered a big time prospect after his year in Greensboro (Which is a MASSIVE hitters park), but his stock took a huge drop after his time in Jupiter because of the big OPS drop even though his park adjusted wRC+ and OPS+ were higher in Jupiter than they were in Greensboro
