  3. as in the new york team from the national league. the yankees are sometimes referred to as the americans in a similar vein.

    Does disgusting habits on the mound add to the pNERD score? Normally something strange and funny would make the game more exciting to watch, but Misch’s habit is gross enough that its almost difficult to not turn your head.

  9. Love the ‘One Night Only!’ Carson. It’s probably the biggest influence on what I decide to watch on mlb.tv any given day.

    Also- is there any chance fangraphs can post a pitcher’s nerd score on his player profile? More than once I’ve been curious about a particular pitcher…
