  1. Those graphs would be easier to understand if the axes were switched.

  2. Yeah, there is a tradeoff here between putting the dependent variables (frequency, swinging-strike rate) on the y-axis, like they traditionally are, and putting height on the y-axis, which corresponds to reality. I prefer the latter, but I can understand why others, like you, disagree.
