  1. I’d like to see feliciano cross the river and go to Bronx. There needs to be a second lefty to complement Logan

  2. “Perpetual Pedro” as Mets announcers call him seems to be called into every game. I wonder if the Mets offer him arbitration this year in hopes of getting draft picks should he turn it down. Of course, the fact that Pedro projects as a Type A free agent might scare away potential suitors. Then again, even if he accepts having Feliciano for another year should benefit the Mets in a division with the likes of Utley, Howard, McCann, possibly Adam Dunn, etc.

  3. If Manuel is back next year the Mets will have bigger issues than who’s facing lefties out of the pen.

  5. It really hasn’t felt like Feliciano’s best year at all. He struggled early, and he’s been ripped by righties more than usual. He’s also walked a lot of guys, as his whip is up to 1.5, up from 1.1 last year. 2006 was a better year for him, as he had a 2.09 ERA and an almost 3 to 1 K to BB ratio. The one thing he’s done really well this year is keep the ball in the yard, with only 1 HR allowed. But, it’s still not his best year.

  6. No way he is back in 2011. He costs $3 million a year and they don’t have the cash to pay him
