  1. Indeed…Gallardo was filthy last night. He had just the right mix of power and finesse and he didn’t miss much with the curveball. Looking forward to seeing how he puts it together the rest of the season.

  2. Gallardo knows how to pitch and the next and final step to acedom is knowing how to leverage the frequent 0-2 he gets his batters in. His upside is still higher than this.

  3. Once Gallardo stops trying to strike everyone out and starts getting a ton of ground balls, he will be able to go 7 innings every game. If he can get more groundballs and still get 8+ k/9, he will be VERY good.
