  4. Curtis wasn’t nearly as smooth when he first came up…it takes time to get comfortable giving interviews…Austin is a great kid, a wonderful centerfielder, and hopefully has a long career ahead of him in Detroit.

  6. Not saying I’m against it, btw. I could care less what ethnicity he is – I want to know more about the person and how their personality affects their approach to the game.

  7. I mean, Austin comes off as very affable and gave a good interview (although I would have liked to hear more about actual baseball, personally, but that’s not on him).

    Curtis just has that special *thing* though, that not too many people have.
