  1. Franklin Morales is a guy who never got a fair shake as a starter, I would love to see him moved back to the rotation.

  3. He is a two pitch pitcher who walks to many people. That would only get worse if he was starting games.

  4. I’ve been wondering whether or not to get excited about Franklin Morales’ VWL stats. I haven’t read anything indicating he has made any real changes, so it could be a fluke. Definitely not a starter, as Cory said, because in addition to the walks, he has a high-effort delivery that probably wouldn’t work 110 times a game. He’s got to overcome that scary combination of high walks and lots of fly balls, but he always seems like a guy that could turn the corner and be a pretty good reliever.

  7. The Australian Baseball League is starting to get interesting as a winter league. The Mariners had five players down there. Three outfielders Denny Almonte, James Jones and James McOwen all looked good
