Shin-Soo Choo has yet to hit a HR – that’s Kipnis in the video, whom the announcer erroneously calls Choo before correcting himself about 5 seconds later. To be fair to the announcer, Kipnis is left-handed, and everyone was wearing 42 that day.
Rangers second in team WAR? How can a team with the best record, leads the MLB in runs scored, and has allowed the fewest runs in the league be behind someone in WAR? Are they just victims of FIP based WAR and park adjustments?

Anyone who waxes dreamy about Cookie Rojas’ visage should tune into the Angel feed, which features his son, Victor, doing play by play.
Worth watching is Coco Crisp (assuming his hangoverflu like symptoms have subsided) play the field; he gracefully tracks every ball and then clunkily 7-hops his throw into the infield. It’s like showing up to a blind date with a stunning goddess only to have her speak in Roseanne Barr’s voice and vocabulary.
