  1. ” That’s some nifty talent springing up in the outfield — and Viciedo is only 23! ”

    Only 23 Factorial!?

Which puts his age at roughly 2.58520167 × 10^22

  3. Talk about some serious old-man skills…

  4. Amazing… Kemp and Hamilton have actually been slightly unlucky this year!

PS – You can’t fool me. I know that that’s just a plain old SATA cable disguised as a DATA cable.

  5. Well Hamilton is having a damn fine season but at 139 career HR he will have to hit about 25 per game in order to “obliterate Bonds from the record books” by July.

  6. Or the writer could have meant the single season record.

  7. I’d say Kemp has been more than a little unlucky this year so far…

  9. Sometimes when you write about the actual game of baseball you must realize that the players need to be on the team to “regress” and stop contributing. This is the case with Alex Presley who has been in Indianapolis since March 15 and was recalled today. Hope he doesn’t regress too much from his not playing for the Pirates for the last month.

  10. According to this every single member of my NL only fantasy team except Yonder Alonso is unlucky!

  11. So this wonderful “tool” either indicates one thing or the opposite. Awesome. I’ll just roll over here to fiddle with this toy whenever I get bored playing Angry Birds (which we all know isn’t possible, but since this is the pretend zone anyways…)….

  13. So it’s realistic that he hits 50+ homers in the next two months? Uh . what?

    Comment by Ash — June 5, 2012 @ 3:10 pm

  14. Hamilton hasn’t been handling very well the way teams have adapted to him since the 4-homer game. Some teams are simply refusing to throw the ball inside anymore to him and throwing a lot of straight changeups. Lefties are throwing him a diet of steady breaking balls unless the guy can throw 95+ from the left side.

  16. Ash must be new to the internets. We should make formal introductions:

Ash, meet exaggerating for effect. Exaggerating for effect, Ash.
