Spring Broadcast Schedule Begins Saturday
MLB.com has released the (tentative) schedule for all the spring-training broadcasts available through MLB.TV — which broadcasts are accessible via a number of connected devices, including PlayStation 3, XBOX 360, Roku, and Apple TV.

The schedule in question is available by clicking this hyperlinked text. Furthermore, by way of cultivating our collective enthusiasm, the author has reprinted below the first four games of the spring broadcast schedule (which starts on Saturday, February 23rd) and made note both of notable offseason arrivals and prospects in camp.

Washington at New York NL | 12:10 ET
• Notable offseason arrivals: Dan Haren, Rafael Soriano, Denard Span (Washington); John Buck, Collin Cowgill, Travis D’Arnaud, Shaun Marcum (New York).
• Notable prospects in camp: Anthony Rendon, Matt Skole (Washington); D’Arnaud, Wilmer Flores, Rafael Montero, Zack Wheeler (New York).
• Other notes: former pitcher and current first baseman Micah Owings has been invited to big league camp for the Nationals. Third base prospect Carlos Rivero was among the top hitters in the Venezuelan Winter League.

Toronto at Detroit | 13:05 ET
• Notable offseason arrivals: Melky Cabrera, R.A. Dickey, the Marlins (Toronto); Torii Hunter (Detroit).
• Notable prospects in camp: Anthony Gose* (Toronto); Nick Castellanos, Tyler Collins, Avisail Garcia (Detroit).
• Other notes: Luis Jimenez, signed by Toronto to a minor-league contract, posted the best overall regressed offensive line in the Venezuelan Winter League. Prospect Bruce Rondon enters spring as Detroit’s potential closer.

*Not technically a prospect, of course. It appears, owing to how they traded a number of top prospects, there are few of those remaining at the upper levels of the minors.

Houston at Philadelphia | 13:05 ET
• Notable offseason arrivals: Erik Bedard, Chris Carter, Carlos Pena (Houston); Mike Adams, Ben Revere (Philadelphia).
• Notable prospects in camp: Delino Deshields Jr., Robbie Grossman, Brad Peacock*, George Springer (Houston); Tommy Joseph, Adam Morgan Jonathan Pettibone, Darin Ruf (Philadelphia).
• Other notes: Delmon Young might will be absent from play, having undergone ankle surgery in the offseason.

*Acquired from Oakland.

Tampa Bay (ss) at Boston | 13:35 ET
• Notable offseason arrivals: Yunel Escobar, Kelly Johnson (Tampa Bay); Ryan Dempster, Stephen Drew, Mike Napoli, Shane Victorino (Boston).
• Notable prospects in camp: Chris Archer, Hak-Ju Lee, Wil Myers, Jake Odorizzi (Tampa Bay); Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley, Allen Webster (Boston).
• Other notes: Tampa Bay left-handed prospect Alex Torres posted the best regressed pitching line this offseason in the Venezuelan Winter League.
