Can’t stand to listen to Dave continually fellate Trout and denigrate Cabrera for no reason. Ah well, Dave’s little bully pulpit remains all his.

The only two things I could think about during the whole David Ross portion of the clip were lunch and John Jaso. Lunch because I really should have eaten before another robust episode of Fangraphs audio, and John Jaso because the Mariners would love to have a good, right-handed backup catcher.

I know Zunino is coming, but at a cost of, what, $4-5M per season, isn’t Ross a great insurance package that could also back up Jaso to start the season?
