Episode 179
Dayn Perry, contributor to CBS Sports’ Eye on Baseball and author of two books (one of them decent), makes his weekly appearance — during the course of which, for example, it’s revealed that he shares an alma mater with Ted DiBiase, Jr.

I strongly disagree with the title of this podcast. Dayn Perry can help me. He can most certainly help me.

    • I stand corrected. Dayn Perry can help you contract a social disease.

He also probably knows where to acquire mescaline in most of the larger Midwestern cities.

He can probably also get you banned somehow from the SPCA.

  4. Doug D. says:

I’m not sure Dayn Perry can help anyone when it comes to baseball. At CBS site he actually called the move of Casey Janssen to the closer role a “sign of desperation”. Really, I’m not making this up. A pitcher with 11/1 K/BB ratio, and 2.21 SIERA, and he calls it a sign of desperation.

For all those interested and regarding the inter-library loan system:

The call number for Dayn Perry’s “Business and Fucking: Secrets to Crushing the Competition in the Boardroom and Bedroom” is ‘F69.8===D~’

“On Lying in Bed” was written by G.K. Chesterton not Samuel Johnson. But you were only off by about 150 years or so.

  8. Laura says:

I think Cistulli was understandably fixated on encroaching death more than the meaningless minutiae of who actually authored “On Lying in Bed”. It happens.
