  1. Oh goodie, another episode of “Meatsweats and his Catamite”.

I just got done streaming Robin Hood Men in Tights from a computer at mt public library– this quote reminded me of listening to your guys’ drivel: “Tell everyone that when the day is out we shall have a wedding. Or a hanging. Either way, we’re gonna have a lot of fun, huh?”

I love the Dayn Perry episodes but please try to have some sort of aim before you start. The bar conversation between two lost souls is great only if they are tackling something remotely tangible.

I agree. While I normally LOVE this podcast when these two guys are on, this time, it went stale and south way too quickly. You went to the well for a bucket of blood, as it were, 100 times too many. Seriously, please don’t do that again. My eyes almost fell out of my head due to severe rolling. Ugh.

Keep up the normally great work you guys!

I agree. My favorite episode of this series has been the wrestling one, the most structured one of them all.

I think that’s my number 2. Diseases that don’t exist but should is #1 and #3 is clearly the original question time podcast where Mr. Perry lambastes the Orvis fly fishing podcasts and Australians in general with his filthy mouth.

I agree with others that a little bit of structure does seem to benefit the Perry podcasts–think: “Question Time” as the best example of this. But I disagree that this wasn’t a strong episode.

Which is amusing, because a stretch there that veered into Melvyn Bragg territory, what with the borderline cogent discussion of the medieval papacy and exhumation.

I agree it wasn’t exactly the worst you guys have ever done but I often put this podcast on with my wife and daughters in the car with me. This was the first episode that was deemed unlistenable by everyone except myself and I unfortunately had to wait until Sunday to listen to the highly enjoyable discussion on some lesser known Lutheran beliefs.

I’ve listened to this episode 5 times, and each time I have not failed to giggle at “gentleman’s delight” and “I will boil the phone.”
