FanGraphs Audio: Dayn Perry, Holiday Travel Companion

Episode 404
Dayn Perry is a contributor to CBS Sports’ Eye on Baseball and the author of three books — one of them serviceable and one of them, against all odds, something more than serviceable. He’s also the guest on this largely unhelpful edition of FanGraphs Audio.

I hope we can get at least one more before the end of this year. Maybe a holiday special? A Very Perry Christmas?

I needed a distraction from some real world issues today, so I was delighted to find this episode sitting in my podcast player.

    Boxed wine, though? F*cking hell.

Small quibble–it’s actually a myth that Marie Antoinette ever remarked “Let them eat cake”. Which actually fits nicely into Dayn’s point, I think.

It’s apparent that Perry cannot end the podcast without completely crushing Cistulli’s soul. And once that’s done, his obligation is finished and he has no further use for said podcast. You are a sick man, Mr. Perry.
