According to Joe Jordan the O’s had Hobgood rated at #3 on their board. Strasburg, Ackley, Hobgood. He recently had both Hobgood and Wheeler in for a visit to Camden Yards and, I guess, that helped him make is final determination. Maybe what we saw in Wheeler’s interview gave us an idea of what put Hobgood over the top in Jordan’s mind. ;^)

If this is the guy Jordan liked best, than I’m a happy O’s fan.

Minor vs the wood bats = domination. Kid knows how to pitch. Will be a great addition to the team that won fourteen straight division titles.
