While Noonan has certainly tumbled from the hype he had after signing, he actually showed some progress this season in his last two months when he walked a lot more than he had in the past. And, remember, he was only 20 YO in a league of mostly pitchers 22-24 YO, so he has been battling a disadvantage in experience.

What about Brett Pill as a Bonus/Riser? Not a bad year this season.

Other tumblers: Conor Gillaspie (zero power, mediocre D); Henry Sosa (another injury); Wendall Fairley (continuing general suckage)

Other sleepers: Jose Casilla & Jorge Buccardo (good GB & K rates); Edward Concepcion (another power arm); Francisco Perguero (lots of tools, finally healthy & produced)

I’d also put Brandon Crawford in the risers category even though his raw numbers aren’t great due to his reportedly very good defense at SS and improvement at the plate throughout the year while being advanced aggressively.
