That couldn’t be further from the truth.

3 of the M’s top starting pitching prospects(Juan Ramirez, Michael Pineda, and yes, Nathan Adcock) are all there. Liddi and Joe Dunigan are both good hitting prospects, as is OF Tyson Gillies.

I think the fact that they play in an extreme hitter’s park/environment makes it difficult to judge both the pitchers and hitters–it’s significant to note that Seattle promoted Phillipe Aumont, arguably their best pitching prospect, to AA West Tenneessee recently after he pitched out of the bullpen at High Desert.

The closest might be Dunigan, the one guy who didn't get a hit. Unless Liddi turns out to be the real deal. My favorite line from the boxscore: Lake Elsinore leadoff hitter Brad Chalk went 4 for 9. Four for nine.
