There's one really good reason to acquire Mark Kotsay and that's his wife who is much farther over replacement level than her husband is on the field. Not that Sox don't already have some eye candy running around with Damon's wife, etc, but WAG-wise the AL East is a competitive division what with ARod and Jeter running around Manhattan and all.
