As I have explained, this is a company tool. It’s not a miracle machine. It could easily turn into another expense unless you put the persistence into learning how to exploit it.

This is a crap write up.....For one Wood no longer throws a Curve as it was not a pitch he could control. One reason for the improved control was the fact he dumped the curve, which was well below average. He now throws a solid Cutter and his plus pitch is the changeup.

Leake would make the cut over Mesoraco as well and he would be ahead of Soto and Maloney. Francisco should also be higher, say 4th or 5th and Cozart should be somewhere around 8-10, if that.

Not sure why they'd exclude 2009 draft picks and international signees when evaluating a systems talent pool though. Seems a bit odd. Leake and Boxberger should both be up there as well.

Todd Frazier = Mark Teahen

Alonso should be traded for a SS or SP'er, Votto needs to stay at 1B.

Maybe the line "(2009 Draft Picks/International Signees Not Included)" needs to be in bold so it isn't as easily overlooked. It took me a minute as well to realize what was going on when I didn't see Leake.

That's the same question I was thinking..."Where's Mike Leake?" And, Matt Maloney is on this list?

Pablo, the note at the top indicates "2009 Draft Picks/International Signees Not Included"

I was admittedly confused at first as well...

Depending on who you ask, Leake is somewhere in the Reds top 3. Pitcher Brad Boxberger and SS Billy Hamilton are other 2009 draftees who could arguably be included in the Reds' top 10.

Where's Mike Leake? This guy is close to Major League ready right out of college. Had a brilliant AFL campaign. Throws four pitches, all for strikes. He isn't a power arm but he's deceptive with his delivery.
