Has the online stream idea been shot down by anyone yet?
We won’t be streaming it live, but we do plan on doing some sort of recording for a potential non-live viewing.
Excellent. From all of us West-Coasters, thanks!
Yes, in lieu of a Moore/Cistulli Midwest bash (and its inevitable Brewers-centric bacchanal [make this happen!!]), a non-live internet viewing will suffice. For now. #jealous
A hashtag in a threaded discussion that does not have 140-character limits. Nice going, JohnnyBigPotatoes. Twitter is going to ruin the world.
Damn, this sounds absolutely awesome.
If I wasn’t an 18-year-old that’s about to go to college with tickets to Lollapalooza for the same weekend, that’s exactly where I’d want to be.
Please do more of these in the future… and please do one in D.C!
Carson’s Event Rider:
* one (1) “incredibly round table”
* four (4) room-temperature ice waters
* one (1) ironically phallic microphone
* two (2) Tom’s of Maine deodorant
* towels
(please add anything I missed)
Hopefully, the event will be quite a success and there will be more of it in the future.I would also love to see one in DC.
Seriously, Chicago is a way cooler city! We have a lake and stuff!
Next time, Chicago gets to host.
We had a really big fire, so you owe us.
(But in all honesty, it sounds awesome and I am double-jealous.)
What better way to confirm the East Coast bias we all know exists than by having one of these in Boston?
And if I weren’t an 18-year-old… in Korea, that’s where I’d want to be.
Will the recording be posted on the homepage, or is there a space we should be watching?
I’m bummed. I bought a ticket to this but now it seems I won’t be able to make it. If anyone wants to purchase the ticket from me, shoot me an e-mail at cdispoto@gmail.com. Not a scalper or anything, just have a family commitment that has come up. Hope there is another one of these soon that I can make.
I’ve got two questions. One, if you’re young (like 14) can you still go to the after party thing? Two, are you assigned a seat or is it, “first come first serve”?
It says tix will be available at the door — but will they definitely be available? I don’t want to drag my tired, hungover self in from BK and get turned away because it’s sold out. And I don’t want to buy a ticket and then end up sleeping through it. (9 AM on a weekend, wtf? Some of us have cheap beer to drink, you know? I digress.)
Anyway, you guys won’t be turning people away at the door, will you?
Tickets will be available online up until 8am on Saturday, so you can check to see if they are still available that morning.
Thanks Dave! I should just buy one online anyway. For the motivation.
