anyone have any idea what the team record for solo shots in a season is? %-wise, too?

I was really expecting to see Mark Bellhorn in here. 27 HR, 56 RBI in 2002. He also set the record for most HR by a Cubs switch-hitter that year.

I enjoyed Willingham’s time as a Marlin, I always enjoyed his approach at the plate. He is a good, selective patient hitter who will draw walks. He doesn’t look the part in the field but never seemed horrible, which is pretty much backed up by his UZR.

Now Bonifacio, don’t even get me started.

Big Albert Pujols has hit 8 straight solo shots I believe. I don’t know how many of his for the season have been solo jobs, but there’s that.

Clearly not enough clutch in that there kid. He’s not a winner, just doesn’t know how to make the plays that you need to win ballgames.
