Alvarez has only played 80 at bats at AA...you think he will fall on his face, rather than adjusting and cutting down on the K's?

I found this:

http://rangers.scottlucas.com/site/2009minorage.htm

I wasn't able to find numbers for the other leagues, but it should give you a decent idea. It looks like 21 in A+ is fine. 22 might be pushing it, but would still be below the average age.

What is the average age of a good prospect in High A ball? Seems like 21 and even 22 years of age is a little old for High A ball.
vr, Xei

I forgot to mention his numbers have actually decreased in the past 2 months as well, so he also needs to learn how to retain his power with the decreased K rate.

While his strikeout rate is still far too high, Cody Johnson has been decreasing his strikeout rate as the season goes on. In April and May, it was about 41.5%, but in June and July, it's been about 31.5%. Still unacceptable, but definite improvement.

Dominic Brown being on both lists must make a trade for Roy Halladay a little more difficult for the Phillies to swallow.
