    Jay Bruce did his debut against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the team with the worst starting pitching in the National League, and probably, both leagues.

    But, he did have 3 plate appearances against Snell who isn’t that bad even if he couldn’t find the strike zone last night, and he had one appearance against Marte, who is actually pretty good.
