Hi, do you think Lind might be a better option at 1st base than Snider?
And should we consider also the position of jeroloman and Arencibia too, as possible “surprises” at 1b, if they can both enter the big leagues with them good numbers(OBP for Jero, and SLG for JP), unless they can grab the backup C job in middle 09 with a poor outings by Thigpen.
I know Arencibia will be a better DH than 1B but it’s growing very fast, and with good defense upside…

I would bet cameo in Sept 2009, and maybe a shot at meaningful PT in 2010. Assuming he continues a swift rise through the system of course, never a guarantee. Travis Snider could factor in also, if he stays at OF or DH and they don’t try him as a 1B. They are apparantly willing to give away Overbay but his salary makes him a tough move.
