Login & Forum Changes
I’ve implemented a number of changes that were required to do a single sign-on for the entirety of FanGraphs.com Unfortunately, as a result, some of your passwords will no longer work. To reset your password, all you need to do is fill out the lost password form to have a new password e-mailed to you. You can then change your password back to whatever it was before.
I realize this is somewhat annoying and I apologize for the inconvenience, but as the site grows and we implement more features that require login, it just didn’t make sense to continue with the old system.
Fortunately, everyone’s custom teams and forum posts have been completely preserved.
The immediate benefit of the change is that you can now use your FanGraphs username to comment on either of the blogs.
If anyone is having any problems retrieving their password, please fill out a contact form and I’ll try and get things squared away as quickly as possible.

What happened to the full-text RSS feed?
There were a number of websites reposting our RSS feed in full without our permission, so I turned it off.
Custom Team? How does one create a custom team? Searching around has not turned anything up…
When you’re logged in you can click on the “MyTeam” link or “MyProjections” link. They’re near the top of the page in the gray bar where you probably clicked to log in/register.
Hmm… I’m logged in but the bar is totally grat with no links. I’ll have to investigate later.
That has happened once on me, but I couldn’t replicate the problem. I believe clearing my cookies did the trick. If that doesn’t work for you I’ll investigate further.
My Team has been missing for me as well. I cleared my cookies and cache in Firefox and it’s still missing. Same with Safari. Let me know if you need more info.
I’m pretty sure I know what the problem is. Fix is coming soon in the next hour or so and I’ll post when it’s been solved.
Thanks David – I’m having the same issues too.
Everything should be working again. If it’s not, just let me know. Sorry about that. Lots of changes went in last night and seems I missed a few spots.
Great, it’s working for me now. Thanks.
Can you guys please do something about the stats going to ascending order? It’s really annoying to click twice to get to descending. I don’t want to see the worst wOBAs first.
To do that they need to keep track of a preferred order for each stat (some you usually do want to see ascending). It would be nice if the order was reflected in the query string, also, so that you could link to stats in something other than the default order.
