Minor League Stats

The 2007 Minor League stats are up and available for viewing in both the stats pages and the Leardboards. They will be updated every morning no later than noon Eastern.

Also, I’ve taken down the projections and spring training stats by default in the stats pages. You can still view them by clicking on “Show Projections” or “Show Spring Training”. I figured now that there was almost a full month of the season underway, the projections weren’t being used as much and they were causing some unneeded clutter. I’m open to putting them back up by default, but as long as I don’t hear complaints, they’ll stay hidden by default.

I didn’t see Rick Ankiel on the PCL leaderboards. He’s tied for 2nd with 7th HRs.

  3. Whoops, I was excluding “Pitchers” from the batting stats. I guess he’s not a pitcher anymore, but he was still be classified as one in the database. It’s now fixed and all the pitcher to outfield converts will show up in the leaderboard.

Thanks for adding Ank, couldn’t let you slip on that! :-) Thanks for the stats. Good stuff, as always.

Real quick question for you Dave…Does the player linkifier tool work for minor league players as well?

  6. Erik: Not yet. I have some additions in the works for the player linker which I hope will be available by the All-Star break

    No RBI for minor leaguers?

  8. As strange as it may sound, I don’t get RBIs. Fortunately, I can’t think of any stat off the top of my head that actually uses RBIs, so you should still be able to statistically evaluate minor leaguers without them.

I like hiding the projections after a month. This site is wonderful, thank you for running it. My fantasy team is forever indebted. :)

leave the page as it is right now, it looks much cleaner. It was incredibly annoying to close the projections and spring training stats before looking at each player. (a suggestion for next year: hide spring training stats a few days after the season starts, maybe a week. people don’t really care about them during spring training, they mean even less after it ends)

I like the projections. It’s the main reason I visit the site.
