Great stuff as always... I feel I should point out again that if you would put the player age next to each season that would be extremely helpful. Baseball Cube and Baseball reference both do this. Its essential information when looking up a minor leaguer... and very helpful otherwise.

erik, the player linker tool does link minor league players, but I think it only links about 10,000 out of 12,000 since I filter out duplicate names for major/minor league players.

I love first inning, but this place is rapidly becoming a one stop shop now with improved minor stats. Now if they include the player linker tool to include minor league players, I may never use FI again.

Thanks, David!

You may have just broken my firstinning visits for good. Looking forward to the batted ball data.

I know this is a hugesignficant deviation from the format of the site currently, and probably a pain to code, but I'm curious, without trying to sound like an ingrate, whether there's a plan for splits of any kind in the future.

Thanks for all the great upgrades (stat wise) here at FanGraphs, this is truly a wonderful site (Great stats + Great articles). I am really looking forward to the improved leaderboard changes that are upcoming. Hopefully, there will be more options in filtering leaderboards by time-slice. I would like to be able to enter the start and stop dates for filtering leaderboards/player stats, instead of choosing past calander year, 2007 season, 2008 season etc...
