He obviously hasn't become that big, but he is a very nice player and a young talent to build around... Wieters should be able to exceed that but fall short of Ripken's legacy - but who wouldn't? Wow. Wieters' numbers are huge. Would it be nuts to say that the Orioles might have the second-best collection of young players in baseball behind only the Rays? In Weiters, Jones, and Markakis-- not to mention guys like Jake Arrieta and Chris Tillman who are on their way)--the O's have a really impressive core of young players. Am I overlooking any other teams that might be able to top that? That being said… Wow. Wieters’ numbers are huge.

Nick Markakis? I mean, he's a really good player who very well may be on his way to being great, but I think that's kind of a narrow perspective on the Orioles.
