it would be really cool if we had the option to link directly to the 'charts'.

maybe a simple radio button that allows us to choose to link to either 'stats' or 'charts' .. you could always leave the default to 'stats' of course.

First of all: Great update! I love having the minor league and major league players side-by-side.

Do you think you guys could add auto-navigation to a player page if there's only a single search response? (sort of like wikipedia) It's not a huge burden to click that link, but it's just on of those little 'things'

MlbFan30: Nicknames are unlikely right now since I don't have a nickname database. I know where to get one, but it's still unlikely to happen soon.

Sal Paradise: Good idea, I'll see what I can do about that.

Is there any chance you could add next article / previous article links to the bottom of the article as well as the top? Having to scroll back up to change articles is a little annoying, and it shouldn't require too much of a change to your templates...

What about getting nicknames in there...or at least just a few common ones.

I'm mostly just talking about Arod though.

Hah, glad you think it's more functional. I'm probably not done prettying it up yet, but searching for minor league players was driving me crazy, so I thought I'd just release it as is and add the bells and whistles later.

While it is more functional (especially when trying to spell something like Albaladejo), it's not as pretty. Obviously, prettiness > functionality ;)
