Wouldn’t the fact that his ERA is so high make some teams shy away from him? I mean, a lot of teams will look at his peripherals and come to your conclusion, but I strongly suspect that there are still at least a few teams that rely solely on ERA. That would inherently limit the pool of teams looking to get him, thus give the teams in the mix more leverage.
