Projection Fixes

It’s come to my attention that the Fielding component for the CHONE projections is per 150 games and not a raw total for the season that I, for some reason, thought it to be. The Fielding projections have now been properly adjusted based on projected games.

I’ve also made a few slight changes to the Fan Projections that adjusted some extremely unrealistic ballots, mostly pertaining to players with zero playing time, but who were projected to hit over zero home runs and extra base hits.

  1. Thanks for the update!

Is there anyway to put an xBABIP-based projection up on he site? Using THT, and the KC Royals as the base team, I was able to “project” luck-neutral lines using singles as the add/subtract as per the usual here. The results are quite interesting (with a handful of notable eye brow-raisers), but I feel like you guys have the resources to do it much more accurately than “drag the formula down the excel sheet”

I think this would be an interesting add.

Also, any word on adding ERA-xFIP in the sortables before the season?

Aw, were the outlandish Kenji Johjima fan projections removed?

Hey, could you add Colby Lewis to the Rangers for projections purposes? He is set to be the team’s #3 starter and CHONE/Marcel project him to be the best Rangers starter. But we cannot make projections for him.
