Amaro sucks, and it's a double-whammy for him on back-to-back days. Not only does he even look even worse after Burrell signed, he doesn't even have the balls to back up one of his best pitchers from last year. His press conference reeks of pussy... which is exactly what he is. Mike Arbuckle should have been the GM, and now he may never get his chance, and he's back in his hometown with the atrocious Royals. For shame Mr. Montgomery.

ESPN's park factors are at least calculated correctly on a year-by-year basis, no? I've had more issues with B-Ref's numbers.

Moving from a hitter-friendly park in the NL to a pretty neutral one in the AL will definitely bring down Burrell's raw stats. But that's why you should use park-neutral numbers all along...

Big mistake by Amaro.....hell regret it by midseason when Ibanez won't hit lefties like he did last year, and when its the 7th and 8th inn and 3 lefties in the 3-4-5 hole

A better player for fewer years and less money. Plus, the Phillies would have saved draft picks by keeping him.

Offense is down around 85% in the Trop compared to Citizens. Plus the move to the tougher league...

I would say minimal. I believe his home/road production was very similar.

Makes the Phillies' signing of Ibanez look even worse. Like they needed that
