Brad Wilkerson will replace Mark Ellis as the bargain of the year. His ability to play all the outfield slots and 1B will give him the opportunity to show that he is finally healthy. .250/.355 with 16-20 HR’s sounds about right.

I hope you are wrong and the Padres don’t bring back Giles. I would love to see him in a Cubs uni next year. He would be a great leadoff hitter and give them a solid lefty bat.

I don’t see the Yankees signing Abreu. They want to move towards a more solid defense team. Abreu is not that. They also have Nady who will probably shift over nicely to right.
