		<description>That list of hitters would look a lot more impressive if the Twins could somehow plug in a young guy who has demonstrated superb skills in the past. Maybe a 26 year old former stud prospect who has been forgotten about due to a string of injuries. Maybe someone who has posted an .870 OPS in the last month?</description>

You might have noticed that during this amazing streak of beating up on the NL, Delmon Young and Mike Lamb are not regulars and are barely even getting at bats. Craig Monroe is dominating the pinch hit at-bats. 

You should mention that Brian Buscher is playing out of his mind, and he&#039;s much better defensively than Lamb. Harris is still a sub-standard defensive option at SS, but he was even worse at 2B. In the last 12 games (Twins are 11-1) Harris has a WPA of .713. So yes, he is making major contributions to this run. Over that same span Buscher has a WPA of .735. They do have everyday players making contributions. However, I am with you that Buscher can&#039;t keep this up. There is a reason he&#039;s 27 and this is his first significant playing time.</description>
