Maybe a 26 year old former stud prospect who has been forgotten about due to a string of injuries. Maybe someone who has posted an .870 OPS in the last month? Craig Monroe is dominating the pinch hit at-bats. You should mention that Brian Buscher is playing out of his mind, and he's much better defensively than Lamb. Harris is still a sub-standard defensive option at SS, but he was even worse at 2B. In the last 12 games (Twins are 11-1) Harris has a WPA of .713. So yes, he is making major contributions to this run. Over that same span Buscher has a WPA of .735. They do have everyday players making contributions. However, I am with you that Buscher can't keep this up. There is a reason he's 27 and this is his first significant playing time. Dave,
