Upcoming UZR Updates
We will occasionally be making some updates to the UZR data on FanGraphs over the next couple months thanks to some improvements in methodology that Mitchel Lichtman (mgl) has been working on!
While there will be no drastic changes in the UZR data, just wanted to make it clear to everyone that the numbers won’t be completely finalized until just before the start of next season.
We will of course keep you informed when the updates do occur.

What are the differences in methodology that you are now implementing? How are the #s going to be different?
I know Mitchel is tweaking some of the Fielder’s Choice code, updating how bunts are handled, adding infield double plays to the mix and also adding outfield arms.
I don’t know exactly which players’ numbers will change and if they’ll go up a little or down a little or stay the same, so we’ll have to wait and see.
would it be possible to allow you to view a players aggregate UZR in the leaderboards, instead of position-by-position?
