Hahaha. I'm just trying to picture having a verbal conversation with that exchange, yelling whenever a name is mentioned.

There will be no PEAVY deal. COUNT on it. LOWE, JURJENS, VASQUEZ, KAWAKAMI and a grab-bag of CAMPILLO, MORTON, HANSON, REYES, GLAVINE and BENNETT with BENNETT slated for long relief. The club will have to lose three of the last five starters as there are six in the pen plus BENNETT. OHMAN must be signed to go with MOYLAN, ACOSTA, SORIANO, BOYER and GONZALEZ. REYES, MORTON, and HANSON all have options. I'm betting GLAVINE does not make the 25 to start the season. Bench is set with the addition of ROSS and INFANTE, NORTON, PRADO, and BLANCO. The line-up goes ESCOBAR, JOHNSON, C.JONES, McCANN, KOTCHMAN, DIAZ/BLANCO, CF??, and FRANCOUER. At this point ADAM DUNN seems to be the leading bat candidate for the OF. Signing LOWE, OHMAN, and DUNN will probably rap up this off-season.

Thanks for discussing this problem. I was musing about it this morning in a tweet (http://twitter.com/matt_danger) and wondering whether or not the Braves would be able to pull the trigger on a Peavy deal. I am praying that they do, because otherwise I fear it will be a long season full of disappointment.
